In order to ease pressure on available parking and to ensure that no one needs to
show up early in order to buy mangos, we've instituted a lottery system for our bigger Saturday sales this season. This is how it works: A link will be posted on our Facebook page. To be included in the lottery for the Saturday sale you need to click on the link while it is active between the hours of 9am and 9pm on the Thursday before the sale. Because it is a random draw, it won’t matter when you contact us during these hours. After we have picked our mangoes on Friday afternoon we’ll post how many pounds of mangoes we will have the next morning and email you directly with your number in the line. Once you have a number, all you need to do is arrive at the time we specify based on your number in line—no need to come early—so that you're there when we call your number. Depending on the time of the season and our supply, limits may apply (a 10lb limit per person, for example). You can, of course, also show up without a number if you’d like to take your chances, but you’ll be in a standby line behind those with numbers from the day before. During peak season, it is possible that we still have mangoes available for walk-up sales after the lottery. Thanks for your support and your patience with our lottery system! |
